The shop keeps its existing estimating workflow. Xpress Connect handles the handoff in the background.

Mitchell, CCC ONE, or a similar system exports estimates to a folder.
Step 2
Shop export folder
Xpress Connect reads EMS or BMS files from the folder. It never moves or changes them.

Maddox Xpress Connect
The Windows app validates, converts, signs, and queues each estimate for delivery.

Maddox
Estimates arrive under the right shop, ready for the next step.
Before you install
A few things the shop needs.
- A Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) PC that can access the folder where Mitchell exports estimates.
- Permission to install software on that PC.
- Mitchell configured to export EMS or BMS estimate files to a folder.
- Your shop's BetterX production username and password. Mitchell and Maddox credentials will not sign you in to Xpress Connect.
- Internet access over HTTPS (port 443). No inbound ports or VPN are required.
First installation
Set up in a few steps.

Download the installer
Click the Download installer button on this page to get the production MSI. This is the permanent installer link; use it whenever you set up a new PC.

Install it on the Mitchell PC
Run the MSI on the Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) computer that can access Mitchell's estimate export folder, then follow the Windows installation prompts.

Sign in with your BetterX production account
Open Maddox Xpress Connect and enter your BetterX production username and password—not your Mitchell or Maddox credentials. If you need a production account or password reset, contact your GoBetterX representative.

Choose the Mitchell export folder
Select the folder where Mitchell saves EMS or BMS estimates. Leave Xpress Connect running. Estimates are sent to Maddox after you sign in and the service is reachable.

What to expect from the update.
New installs and existing shop PCs follow slightly different steps. Here's what happens next.
Already using Xpress Connect?
Your PC checks for the production update every two hours. It installs once there are no estimates waiting to send. After updating, sign in with your BetterX production account when prompted.
Estimates waiting to send?
The app will keep asking for sign-in every five minutes until someone signs in with a production account. Estimates exported in the meantime stay queued and send after sign-in.
